inspired by the idea of bandha - a bind, a support, a point of stability - it was created to hold your mat with ease while bringing a grounded, natural rhythm to your everyday movement.

its broader woven structure offers a softer, more supportive feel on the shoulder, making it especially well suited to heavier mats and longer carries - whether you are on your way to the studio, the park, or back home.

choose 80 cm, 90 cm or 100 cm depending on how you prefer to carry your mat. bandha. is especially comfortable for heavier or denser mats because of its wider braided shoulder section.

if your mat is thick, heavy or has a non-standard rolled circumference, please leave a note at checkout with your mat measurement.

custom length is available on request whenever possible.
care

spot clean gently with a damp cloth when needed and allow to air dry naturally.

because the strap is made from natural cotton cord, slight pilling may appear over time, especially in areas that rub against clothing or the mat. this is a natural characteristic of cotton and does not affect the function of the strap.

if needed, you can gently refresh the surface with a fabric shaver.

if the strap becomes heavily soiled, it can be washed on a delicate cycle at 30°c. place it in a laundry bag if possible, use a gentle detergent, and avoid strong spinning.

do not tumble dry.

allow the strap to air dry naturally, laid flat or hanging freely.
