hand-braided from thick organic cotton cord, this yoga mat strap brings softness, structure, and quiet support to the way you carry your mat. its presence is calm and refined, designed not only to hold, but to accompany the transition into practice with more intention.

the longer braided shoulder section gives dhara a softer, more sculptural feel when worn — making it as beautiful in form as it is functional in use.

dhara is hand-braided from premium 9 mm organic cotton cord and finished with solid wooden rings.

its decorative shoulder section measures approximately 70 cm / 27.6 in, giving the strap a more elongated and elegant silhouette while offering comfortable everyday wear. the loops can be adjusted to suit different rolled mat sizes, from standard mats to thicker premium styles.

the overall feel is grounded, tactile, and quietly refined — a practical object shaped in the spirit of kalarthe.

spot clean gently with a damp cloth when needed and allow to air dry naturally.

because the strap is made from natural cotton cord, slight pilling may appear over time, especially in areas that rub against clothing or the mat. this is a natural characteristic of cotton and does not affect the function of the strap.

if needed, you can gently refresh the surface with a fabric shaver.

if the strap becomes heavily soiled, it can be washed on a delicate cycle at 30°c. place it in a laundry bag if possible, use a gentle detergent, and avoid strong spinning.

do not tumble dry.

allow the strap to air dry naturally, laid flat or hanging freely.

each kalarthe piece is made slowly and intentionally.

small variations in weave, texture or tone are part of the natural character of handmade work.
